“Using the VLB was so easy, and I was approved really quickly,” said Toan as he shared his recent experience. “Once the loan was approved, one of the inspectors came to visit me and look at my plans. Midway through construction, he came again to check the progress and finally at the end he came and did the final inspection. Everybody was so friendly and willing to answer questions. I would gladly work with VLB again.”
Toan explained that his experience was as easy as it gets because the VLB was there to help every step of the way. “The VLB is a very powerful resource for those looking to renovate a home. Every Texas veteran should look to the VLB first as their primary means of education and, where appropriate, funding,” he added.
Texas veterans interested in applying for a VLB home improvement loan can visit the VLB’s website to learn more about the program, including what types of projects are eligible for funding.
Rates are historically low, so veterans are encouraged to apply today.
