“We bought land near Canyon Lake and just got the driveway put in and the land cleared. And now we have a gorgeous view! Working with VLB was so easy. Thank you!” – Mary S.L.

“We have recently purchased a lot at Summit Springs with financing by the Texas Veterans Land Board. What a great experience!!! Chad, the salesman with Lone Star Land Partners, listened to what we were looking for, was very knowledgeable about the property and the area, and kept us informed all along the process which was very brief. We dreaded the actual process because of past experiences, but he walked us through it. We filled out the application, provided any necessary documentation (like a DD214), were approved by the Texas Veterans Land Board, and closed in record time. We have bought and sold houses and properties for 48 years. This transaction has been by far our most efficient, seamless transaction. We recommend Lone Star Land Partners and the Texas Veterans Land Board to all who served in the military!” — Jim and Markett

“I want to thank the staff at the VLB for helping me and my daughter finance our dream home. Single retired Navy mom and my teenager moved into our new house on Cedar Park three days before Christmas. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of the VLB. What a blessing and what a wonderful Christmas miracle.” — Cheri S.

“Thanks to the staff and all the volunteers at the Watkins-Logan Texas State Veteran’s Home for treating the residents and their families to a First Day of Summer Block Party in June, 2013. The Marines grilled up some tasty burgers and hot dogs, while the staff prepared plates for the residents of each cottage to enjoy. There was a water slide and bounce house for grandkids, watermelon slices, snow-cones, cotton candy and a cake walk with entertainment by a very talented country music band. This is just one example of the fun things that Watkins-Logan is always organizing for our veterans and their families. This facility is really a “rose” here in the Rose City and more folks should know about it. We’re lucky to have it here.” — Sarah & Chris
