The Texas Veterans Land Board has just added new forfeited tracts of land to the Type II category in the forfeited land sales program. These pieces of land are available for purchase by both veterans and non-veterans.
In 2013 the VLB board of directors approved a measure to offer financing to non-veterans for forfeited properties not sold in the “Type I” veterans-only sale.
